In 2009 I was commissioned by the University for the Creative Arts at Maidstone. I created a piece of artwork that commemorated their first year of university status. As the year 2009 also celebrated the bicentenary of Darwin's birth I wove the theme of evolution into my work and named the piece 'Galapagos Revisted'. I thought it quite appropriate as the college had 'evolved' into a university. The final image was a large and very detailed lino-cut, it now hangs permanently in the reception area of the university in Maidstone.
